From one print run to a price you can trust.
i
Quantity is the number of sellable items from one complete print run. Costs created once per run are divided by this number; per-item costs are added afterward.
i
Material cost = (slicer weight + support or purge material) × material buffer × spool price ÷ usable spool weight. Failed-print risk is applied later, so it is not counted twice.
i
Electricity uses average watts × print hours ÷ 1,000 × your kWh price. Machine cost uses print hours × your hourly wear and maintenance cost. Either cost can be marked not applicable or explicitly excluded.
i
Setup and active monitoring happen once per print run, then are divided across sellable items. Post-processing and packing time are calculated separately for each item.
i
The failed-print rate increases only the costs that must be paid again when a run fails: material, electricity, machine time, setup labor and per-run consumables. Overhead is added per sellable item afterward.
i
Packing materials and the carrier charge are costs you pay. The shipping amount paid by the customer is part of the customer total, but it is shown separately from the product price. Platform and payment fees are calculated afterward.
i
Margin measures profit against the customer's total payment. Markup measures profit against your cost. Break-even covers costs and selling fees without adding profit. Tax is not calculated in this prototype.
